Take Some Time Off
It has been almost a year and a half since my last post, and I think I am ready to get back to it. For any who read these posts, I have a few different intended audiences for these words. First, there is myself. Sometimes I write to understand my thoughts better, and other times it's as if I am writing to my younger self, offering what guidance I can. Which leads to audience number two: any other actor/singer/performer/human who is looking for some insight in this world. The third group is anyone who has met me or seen me work. Perhaps you will be able to understand some of the struggles and challenges we face in this industry.
All I want to say today, though, is that it's good to take time off. Oh, how we are all so overworked and tired! How we are so bogged down by news and social media! How there is just so much going on ALL THE TIME!
Take a minute for yourself and breathe. Soon I'll fill you in on what has been going on and what is to come in the near future.
